Unboxing the Sony in-car digital media player DSX-A60BT
The Sony DSX-A60BT is an in-car digital media player with Bluetooth, hands-free set-up, USB, and direct iPhone/iPod music playback
At the time of writing it’s on sale at JB Hi-Fi for $71.40 instead of $158.00, i.e. more than 50% discount.
The box
What’s in the box
The head unit comes with an enclosure, a remote control, an ISO harness and owner’s documentation.
Let’s take a look at rear of the unit
Comparing against the original Clarion from the Mitsubishi Magna ES TL. Because the Sony DSX-A60BT is not a CD player, it’s not as deep as the Clarion.
The front panel is detachable from the main unit.
Overall the Sony DSX-A60BT is a great car digital media player to replace the OEM unit. I particularly appreciate that I can recharge my iPhone with its USB port.
Hello, I was wondering if it’s possible to plug microphone to blue jack located on the back of the radio.
Hello Frantisek,
Unfortunately I’m not sure what the blue jack is for and didn’t tried to use it so can’t answer you on this one. Perhaps check in the user manual to see if you could plug a microphone?
Just wondering what would you use the microphone for?
Cheers,
